West Kendall Baptist Hospital (WKBH), part of the Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) system in Miami, has created a way to make the hospital experience about helping the healthy as well as healing the sick. Their Healthy Hub has prime real estate in the WKBH lobby to catch the attention of those coming to visit. This change in lobby décor reflects a change in hospital strategy. And the change is succeeding! Without any marketing, the WKBH Health Hub beat its target of assessing 20 people per day and is also connecting these people to healthcare and social resources, over 300 people have been referred to primary care doctors in West Kendall.
